Notes on the pattern

The pattern is written in US terms.

Ch2 does not count as a stitch.

2hdc means to make 1hdc in each of the next 2 stitches.

The pattern is worked as a long rectangle and then folded in half and sewed around the cushion insert. If you would like the bobble pattern on both sides, continue with the row repeats instead of the plain hdc rows.

Gauge = 13 stitches and 11 rows = 4”x4”

Assembling the cushion

Fold your cushion cover in half so the bobble stitch side is on the front and the hdc rows are on the back. Begin by sewing together the two pieces across the bottom edge of the cushion. I use mattress stitch for an invisible seam but you can use your preferred method. Next, sew up the side of the cushion. Align the rows on each side of the cushion to ensure it is sewn evenly. You may want to pin the sides of the cushion together to keep it even. Fasten off and weave in your ends. Put the cushion insert in to the cushion cover. Attach your yarn to either corner and sew the final side together. Fasten off and weave in your ends.
