  • Dc = double crochet
  • Bldc = back loop double crochet
  • Sl st = slip stitch

Materials

  • 60g/100yds aran weight yarn (30g/50yds per glove) - I used Yarnsmiths Merino Aran Tweed in Antique Gold Tweed but you can use any aran weight yarn
  • 5mm crochet hook
  • Darning needle
  • Scissors

Instructions (make 2 gloves)

Row 1 - ch31, starting in the third ch from the hook, dc in each ch across. Ch2, turn (29)

Row 2 - Row 3 - bldc in each st across. Ch2, turn (29)

Row 4 - 8 bldc, ch8, skip the next 8 stitches, bldc in the remaining stitches. Ch2, turn

Row 5 - bldc in each stich until you reach the ch8, dc in each ch across, bldc in the remaining stitches. Ch2, turn (29)

Row 5 - Row 14 - bldc in each stitch across. Ch2, turn (29)

Seaming the glove

Insert your hook into the back loop of the first stitch, insert your hook into the back of your starting ch, sl st through all loops on the hook. Repeat across the glove until it is fully joined. Fasten off and weave in your ends. This will now be in inside of your glove.

Weaving in your ends

Using your darning needle, you will need to weave your ends by threading the yarn back and forth under the stitches. You will want to work back and forth 3-4 times to ensure the ends are secure.

Turn your glove the right way round and you're finished!
